About Vortex Doors

Bob Briesacher has been serving the Tallahassee area since 2012 and has now joined forces with VORTEX DOORS – a leading national door repair service company. Started as a family business and a distributor of many door products and accessories, his company has provided a full line of garage doors, overhead doors, and roll-up doors for commercial, industrial, and residential applications to build the market-leading position in the greater Tallahassee market over the past thirteen years.

1992

Bob Briesacher started his family-owned door sales and service company to provide a quality product and fast service to the Tampa residential and business communities 24/7/365!

1994

Bob and his staff already recognized the need for larger warehouse space and moved to their new location at 4908 Savarese Circle.

1995

Bob Briesacher became a Founding Member of International Door Association. IDA now has over 1,000 members!

1998

Bob opened the company’s first showroom. This allowed customers to visit the location and see product samples prior to installation.

2004

Bob and his team welcomed the move to Ann Ballard Rd. The new 20,000 sq. ft. building was designed to expand warehouse capabilities to meet the needs of customers.

2012

Bob expands operations with the opening of the Tallahassee service center. Around the same time, he deepens community involvement by supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital of Tampa.

2017

Bob Briesacher celebrates 25 years of owning and operating his family-owned business.

2023

Operations Manager, Andy, celebrates 31 years!

2024

Service Technician, Doug, celebrates 32 years with Bob and the Team! The average tenure of Field Techs is now over 17 years! Bob joins forces with Vortex Doors who has built the market leading position in the west coast and central door repair markets over the past 85+ years. Partnering with Vortex helps Bob expand his residential and commercial national products offering while enhancing Vortex Doors’ coverage, product selection and services with all of our existing and new customers.
